Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska came back to beat Russia's Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 6-7 (6-8), 6-3, 6-4 Sunday in the final of the KDB Korea Open.
"I am very happy to hold the title, especially considering it was a great match and one that lasted for three hours; especially on this level of tennis. It was a very close match and tight sets throughout. I think I was a little bet better in the important moments and I played aggressively throughout and pushed to win the last important points that allowed me to succeed," Radwanska said after the match.
The 24-year-old Radwanska, who was the top seed in the tournament, won her third title of the season.
"It was the very best moment to win the tournament and hold the trophy. I am very happy about that and I was very happy that I could play a great and long match today," Radwanska said.
Radwanska, the world No. 4, has now won 13 titles in her career. EFE
