Serbian world No. 1 Novak Djokovic is publishing a book, titled "Serve to Win," that tells readers how to create a healthy diet.
"Now, Djokovic has created a plan to remake your body and life in just 14 days. With weekly menus and delicious and easy to prepare recipes. He also offers advice for eliminating stress and easy exercises for staying active, the same ones he does before every match," Dr. William Davis, father of American tennis player Lauren Davis, wrote in the prologue.
"Finding the right food for my body made me lighter, healthier and focused. This made a difference in my career and in my life," Djokovic said.
The 26-year-old tennis star's book, which goes on sale Aug. 20, reveals his nutritional secrets, which include eliminating gluten.
The six-time Grand Slam winner discusses his time growing up in the war-torn Balkans in the early 1990s and his life as a sports superstar. EFE
