The Buffalo Bills said they signed free agent quarterback Kevin Kolb.

Kolb was released by the Arizona Cardinals on March 15 after failing to reach an agreement with the team to restructure his contract.

The 28-year-old quarterback suffered a series of injuries last season that kept him out of 10 games.

He threw for just 1,168 yards with eight touchdowns and three interceptions in his six games with the Cardinals.

Kolb had 17 TDs and 11 picks in his two seasons with Arizona, which acquired him from the Philadelphia Eagles on July 28, 2011.

The Bills released quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick on March 12.

Tarvaris Jackson, who recently got a one-year contract, was the only experienced QB on Buffalo's roster.

The Bills finished 6-10 last season in the basement of the AFC East. EFE
