Brazilian forward Neymar has been voted "Soccer King of the Americas" for the second consecutive season in the annual sports reporters poll conducted by the Uruguayan daily El Pais, the publication said Monday.
Neymar, who plays for Santos and Brazil's national squad, received 199 votes and far outdistanced Peruvian midfielder Paolo Guerrero, who got 50 votes.
Brazilian star Lucas Moura received 21 votes and his countryman, Ronaldinho, picked up 12 votes.
Some 300 sports reporters from newspapers, weeklies, magazines and news agencies across the Americas cast ballots in the poll. EFE
