Tom Brady once again worked his magic on Monday Night Football, leading the New England Patriots to a 42-14 pounding of the Houston Texans in a duel of the top teams in the American Football Conference.
The Patriots dominated the Texans throughout the game at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts, pushing their record to 10-3 with their 7th straight win.
New England showed that when December arrives it gets geared up to make the big push for another Super Bowl appearance, while the Texans (11-2) played lackluster all game, especially on defense, which had been the team's strength all season.
Brady tormented the Texans all game, completing 21 of 35 passes for 296 yards, with four touchdowns, giving him a passer rating of 125.4.
Texans QB Matt Schaub finished the game 19 of 32 for 232 yards, with no touchdowns and one interception, and was unable to convert on two critical 4th-down plays. He failed to convert on 4th down until the final quarter of play, when the game was already decided. EFE
