Rookie Nick Foles will get his second consecutive start at quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, who will play the Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football, press reports said.

Foles will have to step in once again for Michael Vick, who is recovering from a concussion, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported, citing an NFL source.

Vick's recovery has been slower than team doctors initially expected.

Foles has taken all the reps with the starting offensive unit since Wednesday, the newspaper said.

The rookie struggled in his first start last Sunday against the Washington Redskins, finishing with 21 completions in 46 attempts for 204 yards, with no touchdowns and two interceptions. EFE
