Running back Michael Turner scored on a three-yard run in the 4th quarter, while placekicker Matt Bryant connected on four field goals to lead the Atlanta Falcons to a 19-13 win over the Dallas Cowboys.

The Falcons pushed their record to 8-0 and are the last undefeated team in the NFL at the halfway point of the season.

Turner had 20 carries for 102 yards and one touchdown.

Quarterback Matt Ryan completed 24 of 34 passes for 342 yards, his best yardage total of the season, but he did not have any touchdowns in leading the Falcons' offense.

The Cowboys, who fell to 3-5, were led by QB Tony Romo, who completed 25 of 35 passes for 321 yards, with a 21-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Kevin Ogletree.

The Falcons focused on burning the clock at the end of the game and held the ball for five minutes, with Bryant kicking a 32-yard field goal and leaving Dallas just 17 seconds to work with. EFE
