Indianapolis Colts linebacker Robert Mathis is expected to play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, the team said.

Mathis missed the last three games due to a knee injury.

The linebacker, who leads the team with five sacks, was limited in practice on Wednesday, but he said he felt he was at 100 percent.

Colts defensive coordinator Greg Manusky praised Mathis, saying that the 10-year veteran "knows how to make a difference."

The Colts' interim head coach, Bruce Arians, said Mathis was an essential member of the team both on the field and off the field.

Arians said he could not wait until the linebacker got on the field again. EFE
