Al Ahli bounced back from losing the first leg to beat crosstown Jeddah rival Al Ittihad 2-0 on Wednesday and advance to the Asian Champions League final against South Korean club Ulsan Hyundai.

Al Ahli won 2-1 on aggregate after a headed goal from Motaz al-Musa in the 44th minute and a calm finish by Brazilian striker Victor Simoes de Oliveira in the 83rd.

Down 1-0 after the first leg, Al Ahli pressed from the start. Al-Musa just missed with headers in the 32nd and 43rd before he scored.

With the sides level on aggregate, the match appeared headed for extra time. But Victor Simoes de Oliveira received a long-range pass in the area and slotted the ball past goalkeeper Mabrouk Zayed.

Al Ittihad had one last chance but Osama al-Harbi's free kick flew over the crossbar in the 88th.
