Mexican Formula One driver Sergio Perez, who grabbed eighth place in the qualifying sessions for the 2nd Indian Grand Prix, said Saturday he is pleased with his position and expects to move up "one or two spots" during Sunday's race.

"It's a very good position. The team has done a very good job and I'm happy and satisfied," Perez told Efe at the Buddh International Circuit, located in Noida, a city 50 kilometers (30 miles) from New Delhi.

Perez said he is optimistic about Sunday's race, adding that even though it "won't be easy" to move up positions on the Buddh track, "we've got to try and give our all tomorrow." EFE
