Brazilian World Cup-winning coach Luiz Felipe Scolari says he is likely to start managing again in 2013.

He says he expects to ''get a coaching job again next year,'' although without elaborating whether it will be with a club or a national team. The 63-year-old Scolari has said in the past that he wants to manage a national team at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Scolari, who led Brazil to the 2002 World Cup title, and eight-time national champion Palmeiras mutually ended their contract two weeks ago because the coach had failed to get the team out of relegation zone.

Scolari's comments Tuesday came as Brazil's sports ministry announced he will work as a consultant, giving speeches to young Brazilians about his sports experience and promoting the World Cup.
