Rodrigo Palacio's last-gasp strike earned Inter Milan a 1-1 draw against Celtic in their friendly at Parkhead, but Hoops boss Neil Lennon was left with more to worry about ahead of Wednesday night's Champions League clash against HJK Helsinki.

Kris Commons, whose fine strike just before the break gave the home side the lead, hobbled off near the end leaving Celtic to finish the game with 10 men after they had used all their outfield substitutes.

Lennon had already seen striker Anthony Stokes carried off on a stretcher in the first half and that will be a concern ahead of the opening leg of their qualifier against the Finnish side in midweek.

Huddersfield let slip a two-goal lead as they concluded their mini-tour of Scotland with a 2-2 draw against Hibernian at Easter Road.

Town went 2-0 inside 20 minutes, with Lee Novak turning home a cross from Jordan Rhodes in the 14th minute and summer signing Sean Scannell doubling the Yorkshire side's lead five minutes later.

But Hibs reduced the deficit thanks to Leigh Griffiths' stunning volley in the 27th minute and Ivan Sproule slammed home a 62nd-minute equaliser for the Scottish Premier League side.

John Sutton's solitary strike helped Hearts finalise preparations for the new SPL season with a 1-0 win over Rotherham at New York Stadium.

Danny Collins and Greg Halford made their Nottingham Forest debuts but their new side went down 2-1 at Mansfield.

Anthony Howell and Nick Wright scored Mansfield's goals with Ismael Miller the man on target for Forest.

Oliver Norburn scored a late equaliser to help Bristol Rovers salvage a 1-1 draw with Yeovil.

Rohan Ince's goal 12 minutes from time looked to have given Gary Johnson's side the win, but Norburn came off the substitutes' bench to deny the hosts.
