Aluko, who signed a two-year contract last week having completed a free transfer from Rangers, said it will be as tough as ever to win promotion to the Barclays Premier League. "The Championship is very, very competitive," Aluko told the club's official website. "There are a lot of big teams in the division this year so it's going to be tough for any side to achieve success. "However, there aren't any clear favourites in the race for promotion so there is all to play for. "We're an ambitious team with ambitious players who want to play at the highest level and we're all determined to help this club get back into the Premier League." Aluko said he was prepared to play in any position to help manager Steve Bruce steer his side to success, adding: "I don't really have a preferred position. I'll play anywhere the manager asks me to whether it's in midfield, on the right wing, the left wing, as an attacking midfielder or up front."
