Soccer fans can circle Oct. 7, which figures to be a big weekend in European club play.

Italy's Serie A drew its schedule Thursday, and AC Milan will host Inter Milan at San Siro on Oct. 7. That Sunday also happens to be the day that Barcelona hosts Real Madrid in Spain's La Liga.

Because of television, it won't be clear until September whether those games will be played at the same time or whether either will be shifted to an earlier start time or to Saturday.

The return Milan derby is scheduled for Feb. 24. Milan hosts defending champion Juventus on Nov. 25, with the return match at Turin on April 21.

Juventus opens its title defense at home against Parma on Aug. 25-26, hosts its derby against promoted Torino on Dec. 2 and is at its crosstown rival on April 28.

In the Rome derby, Lazio hosts Roma and American midfielder Michael Bradley on Nov. 11, with Roma the home team at Stadio Olimpico on April 7. In the Genoa derby, promoted Sampdoria hosts Genoa on Nov. 18, with the return match on April 14.
