Real Madrid have rejected a five million euros bid for reserve striker Joselu from German side Hoffenheim according to AS.
The 22-year-old scored 26 goals last season as Real Madrid Castilla were promoted to the Segunda Division and has also caught the eye of sides in the English Premier League with Arsenal and West Ham both reported to be interested.
Real are believed to want a fee in the region of 10million euros and will also ensure a buy-back clause is inserted in any potential transfer.
Meanwhile, another of the promoted Castilla side, Dani Carvajal, has joined Bayer Leverkusen for five million euros. The right-back has signed a five-year deal with the German giants after deciding to leave Madrid to gain more first-team experience.
The Spanish champions do however also have a buy-back clause in force on the 20-year-old for the next two seasons.
