MILAN (AP) – French club Nancy says midfielder Bakaye Traore will join AC Milan in the offseason.
Traore, whose contract with Nancy expires at the end of the season, has signed a three-year deal with the Serie A runner-up.
In a statement on its website, Nancy says Traore signed his new deal in mid-April but waited until the French club was mathematically safe from relegation to announce his move.
Traore joined Nancy in 2009 and has scored 12 goals in 71 league games for the Ligue 1 club.
The 27-year-old Mali midfielder's last games for Nancy will be at home to St. Etienne and away to Lille.
