UEFA has reduced some ticket prices for the Champions League final in Munich after criticism over expensive tickets for last year's final in London.

UEFA opened sales for the May 19 match on Thursday with the cheapest ?70 ($93) seats available to all fans.

Last year at Wembley, the lowest-category tickets priced ?95 (then $127) were sold only to fans of the finalists, FC Barcelona and Manchester United.

However, top-priced seats rise from ?350 (then $470) to ?370 ($493).

UEFA has cut administration charges to ?20 ($27) for ticket sales within Europe from ?31 (then $40). German residents pay ?10 ($13).

UEFA says each finalist will get 17,500 tickets at Bayern Munich's 62,500-capacity stadium.

Fans worldwide are allocated 7,000 seats.
