Barcelona president Sandro Rosell's only holiday wish is for coach Pep Guardiola to finally sign a contract extension.

Rosell said he hopes Guardiola commits to a new deal, ''but there isn't any panic because this club comes before any person.''

Guardiola, whose contract ends after this season, has spearheaded the Catalan club's most successful period by winning 13 of a possible 15 trophies since taking charge in 2008.

Guardiola has been offered a long-term deal that would be renewed year-to-year, with Rosell saying: ''It's his decision to take. We will do all we can to make sure he can't say no.''

On Wednesday, Guardiola urged fans not to panic over his situation, saying ''I know when I have to do it and how it needs to be done.''
