Freiburg and Papiss Demba Cisse have agreed to a new contract that allows the Senegal striker to leave the club at the end of the season if the right offer comes along.

Cisse, who recently said he wanted to leave the club, agreed to improved terms and received a commitment from Freiburg to listen to offers.

Freiburg sports director Dirk Dufner told Kicker on Friday that Cisse could leave for the highest offer ''as long as it's in the region of his market value.''

The 26-year-old forward's existing contract through June 2014 was not extended.

Cisse, who has scored four goals in five Bundesliga games, scored 22 in the league last season, second only to Bayern Munich forward Mario Gomez, who scored 28.
