AUGSBURG, Germany (AP) – Bundesliga side Augsburg says it has acquired Gambia striker Dawda Bah from HJK Helsinki.
The promoted club said on Tuesday the 27-year-old Bah has signed a two-year contract, not dependent on first-division status. No fee was disclosed.
Augsburg general manager Andreas Rettig said his side signed ''a player who can play anywhere up front. So we're happy.''
Bah scored 19 goals in 98 games for HJK Helsinki.
Augsburg is still without a win after four games in its first ever season in the Bundesliga.
