STOCKHOLM (AP) – Hannu Patronen and May Mahlangu scored in the second half Sunday as Helsingborg beat Orebro 2-0 and increased its lead in the Swedish league.
Helsingborg is now six points clear of Elfsborg which lost 2-1 at Malmo FF. Lars Nilsson equalized for Elfsborg after Wilton Figueiredo put Malmo ahead, but the Brazilian scored again in the 68th minute to seal the win for last year's champion.
Robert Ahman Persson's free kick in injury time gave third-place AIK a 1-0 win against Syrianska, while Gefle and Hacken drew 2-2 and GAIS routed Mjallby 3-0.
In Saturday's matches, Kalmar and Goteborg drew 0-0 and last-place Halmstad won 1-0 at Trelleborg. Norrkoping scored twice in the first 11 minutes and held on to win 2-1 against Djurgarden on Thursday.
