MADRID (AP) – Spanish topflight club Rayo Vallecano has acquired veteran striker Raul Tamudo.
The promoted club says Tamudo signed a one-year contract and will be presented on Friday.
The 33-year-old Tamudo played for Espanyol for 14 seasons then Real Sociedad last season.
The Catalan player has 136 career goals, including seven last season with Sociedad.
Tamudo joins midfielder Dani Pacheco, who arrived on loan from Atletico Madrid after playing for English club Norwich City last season, as Rayo's major reinforcements.
