Spanish club Real Zaragoza has signed Mexican winger Pablo Barrera on a season-long loan from England's West Ham.

The 24-year-old Barrera will undergo a medical on Friday before being presented to the media and fans, the club announced on its website.

The Mexico international, who has 34 caps, failed to hold down a starting berth at West Ham, the club he joined from Mexican club UNAM Pumas after appearing in the 2010 World Cup.

Former Mexico coach Javier Aguirre is in charge at Zaragoza. Barrera becomes the second Mexico international Aguirre has signed for the Aragonese club, following Efrain Juarez's arrival on loan from Celtic.
