PRAGUE (AP) – Czech Republic forward Vaclav Sverkos has completed a move from French club Sochaux to his former team, Banik Ostrava.
The 27-year-old Sverkos had a contract until the end 2011-12 season with Sochaux but reached a deal to terminate it after failing to secure a spot in the lineup. Last season, he was on loan to Greek club Panionios.
Ostrava signed Sverkos to a five-year-contract Tuesday.
Sverkos has scored three goals in his 11 international games.
