German Cup holder Schalke will travel to second division side Karlsruhe to continue the defense its title.

Four sides from the regional leagues - Essen, Kiel, Leipzig and Eintracht Trier - were the lowest-ranked clubs in Saturday's draw of 32 for the cup's second round.

Matches will be played Oct. 25 and 26.

Bundesliga champion Borussia Dortmund will host second division Dynamo Dresden, which knocked out Bayer Leverkusen.

Werder Bremen, Wolfsburg and Freiburg were the other Bundesliga sides knocked out in the opening round.

Bayern Munich hosts Ingolstadt, another second division side, while Hoffenheim and Hannover host Cologne and Mainz respectively in ties between Bundesliga sides.
