Arsene Wenger says he is undecided whether it is in Arsenal's interest to try to make Cesc Fabregas stay at the Premier League club.

Barcelona has been trying to buy the Spain midfielder for a second straight offseason but Arsenal has so far refused to sell its captain.

Arsenal manager Wenger wants to hold on to Fabregas but acknowledges that the player is ''unsettled.''

Arsenal had been holding out for a bigger offer from the European champion, with whom Fabregas began his career before moving to north London as a 16-year-old prospect.

Wenger added that ''he is torn between two loves ... I personally can understand that but we want to be certain of his complete commitment.''
