German daily Bild says Arjen Robben has been ruled out of the second leg of Bayern Munich's Champions League playoff at FC Zurich on Tuesday.

Bild's website reported Tuesday that Robben has suffered a recurrence of the back problems that have affected the Dutch winger recently.

Thomas Mueller is set to take Robben's place against the Swiss runner-up, which needs to overturn a 2-0 loss from the first leg last week.

Robben complained of problems on Monday, when he told the newspaper: ''If the pain allows me to play, then I'll play. But it could be that there's another game where it can't happen.''

Jerome Boateng and Luiz Gustavo are set to be restored to the starting lineup after being rested for Bayern's 5-0 win over Hamburger SV on Saturday.
