U.S. midfielder Alejandro Bedoya says he has agreed terms with Scottish Premier League champion Rangers.

Bedoya announced the deal on Twitter, adding that he is now ''crossing his fingers'' that a British work permit is approved to allow him to play for the Glasgow club. The Florida player has spent the last two years in Sweden with Orebro SK.

Rangers director of football Gordon Smith told Scottish TV on Thursday that if Bedoya signed now he would not start playing until January.
