PAMPLONA, Spain (AP) – Malaga completed the signing of defender Sergio Sanchez from Sevilla on Friday.
Sanchez agreed to a four-year deal with Malaga, which did not release the transfer fee though reports say it was around ?3 million ($4.34 million).
Sanchez returned in January after being sidelined for a year by a heart condition. The 25-year-old, who underwent surgery to correct the problem, passed the standard medical to seal the transfer.
Malaga says Sanchez will be presented Saturday alongside midfielder Diego Buenanotte, who arrived from Argentine club River Plate.
