Belarus has secured the fourth and final European ticket to the 2012 Olympics by beating Czech Republic 1-0 in the European Under-21 Championship third-place play-off in Aalborg.

Yegor Filipenko struck the only goal two minutes from time for Belarus to ensure it will join hosts Great Britain in London next summer along with European Under-21 finalists Switzerland and Spain.

The win came as some consolation for Belarus following its 3-1 extra-time semi-final defeat to Spain.

The Czechs, who lost 1-0 after extra time in their last-four clash with the Swiss, left Denmark empty-handed.
