SAO PAULO (AP) – Brazilian defender Lucio is hoping Inter Milan offer him a two-year contract extension.
Lucio has been linked with a move away from the San Siro this summer with Spanish outfit Malaga among the clubs keen to acquire the services of the 33-year-old.
"I want to remain at Inter but with the condition that my contract is extended until June 2014," Lucio told Gazzetta dello Sport.
Lucio joined Inter from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2009 and is under contract with the Nerazzurri outfit for a further year.
Inter are reportedly only prepared to offer the Brazil international a one-year contract extension.
