UEFA says Toulouse and Saint-Etienne have been added as venues for the 2016 European Championship in France.

The European ruling body's executive committee unanimously approved the proposal made by Jacques Lambert, the Euro 2016 chief organizer.

UEFA says increasing the number of venues to 11 will enable organizers to better cope with the rise in teams from 16 to 24.

Letting more teams play is causing the number of matches to jump from 31 to 51.
