Suspended FIFA vice president Jack Warner says he testified at his bribery hearing that Sepp Blatter gave a $1 million ''gift'' to a regional football confederation.
Warner says the $1 million of FIFA money was given to the CONCACAF congress to spend ''as it deems fit.''
Warner is the president of CONCACAF, the regional body for North, Central America and the Caribbean. He and Asian football chief Mohamed bin Hammmam were provisionally suspended Sunday amid allegations of bribery in the Qatari's campaign to replace Sepp Blatter as FIFA president.
Warner says the money given to CONCACAF ''annoyed'' UEFA President Michel Platini, who said Blatter ''had no permission from the (FIFA) finance committee.''
Warner says his FIFA ethics hearing was ''biased'' and an abuse of process.
