UTRECHT, Netherlands (AP) – PSV Eindhoven demolished Feyenoord 10-0 Sunday with eight second-half goals in the Dutch club's heaviest league defeat since it was founded in 1908.
Brazil forward Jonathan Reis scored three goals and PSV stayed top of the league.
Feyenoord played with 10 men after Kelvin Leerdam was ejected in the 34th for his second yellow card.
Jeremain Lens and Balazs Dzsudzsak also scored twice in the rout with further goals coming from captain Orlando Engelaar, Ola Toivonen and captain Ibrahim Afellay.
Earlier Sunday, Belgium defender Jan Vertonghen headed Miralem Sulejmani's 89th minute corner to help Ajax earn a 2-2 draw at Excelsior Rotterdam.
PSV leads with 24 points, two more than FC Twente. Ajax is third with 21 along with Roda JC.
Daan Bovenberg scored to put Excelsior in front in the 37th before Kevin Wattamaleo punished Urby Emmanuelson's blunder to double the lead five minutes later. Mounir El Hamdaoui pulled one back in the 46th.
Theo Janssen, Bryan Ruiz and Marc Janko each scored to give Twente a 3-2 win over ADO The Hague.
Dmitri Boelykin and Frantisek Kubik replied with a goal in each half for ADO.
In other games, it was: NAC Breda 1, Roda JC 2; NEC Nijmegen 3, FC Groningen 2; De Graafschap 1, Heracles Almelo 1 and SC Heerenveen 2, VVV-Venlo 0.
AZ Alkmaar secured its fifth successive victory by trouncing Willem II 3-0. Jonathas scored a penalty in the 11th before Maarten Martens and Brett Holman also got on target.
Dries Mertens scored one and created another for Jacob Mulenga in FC Utrecht's 4-1 win against Vitesse Arnhem. Slobodan Rajkovic and Tim Cornelisse also netted a goal each for Utrecht while Marcus Pedersen scored the lone goal for Vitesse.
