Spanish actress Elsa Pataky gave birth Friday to twins at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, according to a report posted on the TMZ Web page, which noted that the delivery took place under strong security measures.

The husband of the star of the "Fast and Furious" saga, actor Chris Hemsworth ("Thor"), was at the hospital when the babies were born.

Two bodyguards kept watch at the door to Pataky's room, while Hemsworth walked up and down the nearby corridors with an escort, according to TMZ.

The news has not been officially confirmed.

Pataky and Hemsworth wed in 2010 and are parents of a 22-month-old girl, India Rose. EFE
