Mexico's Global Economic Activity Index, or IGAE, inched up 0.39 percent in November, compared to the previous month, the National Statistics Institute, or INEGI, said.
The IGAE was unchanged in real terms in November, compared to the same month in 2012, the statistics agency said in a statement.
The primary sector of the economy contracted by 6.45 percent, while the secondary sector grew 0.14 percent and the tertiary sector expanded 0.64 percent, on a seasonally adjusted basis.
The primary sector contracted 3.8 percent, while the secondary sector contracted 1.4 percent and the tertiary sector grew 1 percent, compared to November 2012.
The IGAE is a preliminary short-term indicator of economic trends in the country as it does not include all the economic sectors used in calculating the gross domestic product. EFE
