Eight members of the same family were discovered stabbed to death inside their home in this northern Mexican city, authorities said.
Three children under 10 were among the dead, a police source told Efe.
The bodies of the children and two young women were left in the bedrooms of the residence on Ciudad Juarez's south side. Police found the adult male victims tied to chairs with gags in their mouths.
A child and nine adults were fatally shot inside their Juarez- area home on Sept. 23.
Assailants attacked the residence during a party to celebrate victory in a baseball game, the Chihuahua state Attorney General's Office said at the time.
Chihuahua, which borders Texas, is one of the most violent states in Mexico, thanks largely to the presence of the Juarez, Sinaloa and Zetas drug cartels.
The Juarez cartel, one of Mexico's most violent criminal organizations, has been waging a war against the Sinaloa cartel that has left thousands of people dead in the past few years.
The cartel smuggles drugs and engages in other criminal activities from its base in Ciudad Juarez, located across the Rio Grande from El Paso, Texas. EFE
