Two people died and eight others were injured on a highway in northern Honduras when the bus in which they were riding overturned, police said on Sunday.
Among the dead are a pregnant woman and the driver of the vehicle, a police official told reporters.
The crash occurred in the Villanueva sector, in the northern province of Cortes, when the passenger bus overturned after a tire blew, the source said.
The injured were taken to the state-run hospital in the area, but no information was available as to their condition.
In Honduras, traffic accidents are the second-biggest cause of death killing at least 11,109 people between 2000 and 2012, according to the state-run Human Rights Commission. EFE
