Grammy-winning R&B singer Miguel was arrested in Los Angeles for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol, the Los Angeles Times said.
Miguel Pimentel, 27, was driving through the Marina del Rey district above the speed limit and was pulled over by police.
After stopping his car, the cops gave the singer of "Adorn" a sobriety test, but found his blood alcohol content too high and arrested him at 2:39 a.m. Thursday.
Miguel was in the police station for 90 minutes, after which he was released on $5,000 bail.
The singer must appear for a court hearing on Sept. 9.
Miguel won a Grammy for Best R&B Song in February with "Adorn" and was nominated for four other awards, including Best Urban Contemporary Album for "Kaleidoscope Dream." EFE
