A Health Secretariat employee stabbed six co-workers in a workplace fight, the Mexico City police department said.
The incident occurred Wednesday on the fourth floor of the secretariat's building on Mexico City's Paseo de la Reforma.
Two workers apparently got into an argument and one of them pulled out a knife and stabbed the other, as well as several other employees who tried to separate them, police said.
Three men, ages 36, 46 and 26, sustained wounds in different parts of their bodies.
The other victims, ages 32, 28 and 37, suffered minor wounds in the incident.
All of the victims were taken to Mexico City hospitals for treatment of their wounds, officials said.
The assailant fled the scene, but the victims identified him as an administrative employee at the Health Secretariat, police said. EFE
