Two people were killed and three others are listed in critical condition after a tourist bus crashed into an overpass at the Miami International Airport, local authorities said Saturday.
Airport spokespersons said 30 other bus passengers suffered injuries of varying degrees, most of whom were taken to nearby hospitals.
The accident occurred early Saturday at the entrance to the arrivals terminal and caused flight delays and a huge traffic jam on the road leading to the airport.
The bus was traveling at 30 kilometers (19 miles) per hour at the time of the crash.
The vehicle was too tall to clear the overpass and should have used an alternate road, airport spokesman Greg Chin said.
One passenger was killed at the scene of the accident, while a second person died at a nearby hospital. EFE
