Former Puerto Rico senator Jorge de Castro Font has pleaded guilty in San Juan to 93 charges, including bribery, extortion, money laundering and perjury.

De Castro Font is already in prison serving a five-year federal sentence after pleading guilty last May to 20 counts of honest services wire fraud, as well as one count of conspiracy to commit extortion. On Wednesday, a judge ordered that he serve the new sentence with the federal one.

Previously, de Castro Font was a spokesman for the New Progressive Party and chair of the powerful rules committee. He was accused of demanding money in exchange for favorable legislation.

The island’s justice department said de Castro Font is sentenced to 10 years in prison.
