Four suspects robbed a Bank of America branch in the Santa Clarita area today then led sheriff's deputies on a chase to downtown Los Angeles, with three suspects jumping out of the vehicle during two separate stops in the Sylmar area.

The televised chase was the third in the Southland in three days, and was continuing in the South Los Angeles area by late morning. The chase went from the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway and eventually onto the southbound Pasadena (110) Freeway and onto Third Street and Alvarado Street shortly before 11 a.m.

During the chase, the driver of the dark SUV pulled over twice in the Sylmar area, with two suspects jumping out of the vehicle during the first stop and a third jumping out during the next stop.

As the driver continued leading the chase in South Los Angeles, another suspect in the back seat began throwing money out of the SUV's windows.
