The winning ticket for the current $400 million Powerball jackpot was sold in South Carolina, the Multi-State Lottery Association said.

The lucky numbers this time around were 7, 10, 22, 32, 35 and Powerball 19, and according to lottery authorities the winning ticket was sold at the Murphy Express gas station in Lexington, South Carolina.

Two tickets, sold in Florida and Pennsylvania, won the Match 5 category and each winner will receive $2 million. Six other people won prizes of $1 million each.

The lottery jackpot, the drawing for which was held Wednesday night, was the fifth largest in U.S. history.

The largest payout of all time continues to be the $656 million Mega Millions lottery jackpot in March 2012.

The chances of correctly selecting all six Powerball lottery numbers are calculated to be approximately 1 in 175 million, the firm says.

Gloria Mackenzie, 84, of Zephyrhills, Florida, won the largest Powerball jackpot in history of $590 million, and the second-largest prize of $587 million was shared by two ticket-buyers in Arizona and Missouri. EFE
