American actress Scarlett Johansson is engaged to French journalist Romain Dauriac, People magazine reported.
"They're engaged and very happy," the magazine reported on its Web site, citing a source close to the couple.
Dauriac proposed to the 28-year-old actress a month ago and gave her a vintage Art Deco-style ring.
The couple went public with their relationship in November.
Johansson was spotted wearing the ring this week in Italy, where she was promoting her latest flick, "Under the Skin," at the Venice International Film Festival.
The actress plays an alien who takes over the body of a gorgeous woman and hitchhikes around Scotland observing humans, seducing and killing men, and experiencing unknown feelings.
Johansson was previously married to actor Ryan Reynolds.
The two got hitched in a low-key fashion in September 2008 in Canada.
Johansson's relationship with Reynolds started after he broke up with singer Alanis Morissette.
The wedding took place at a hotel on the outskirts of Vancouver, with Johansson's mother, Melanie Sloan, and her brother, Adrian Johansson, among the guests.
The couple divorced in July 2011, with Reynolds marrying actress Blake Lively in September of last year. EFE
