Nine Latinos made it onto this year's Forbes Top 100 Most Powerful Celebrities list and Charlie Sheen was the highest ranking of them all at No. 26.
Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal ranked No. 46 on Forbes magazine's list of the World's 100 Most Powerful Celebrities, which also includes baseball slugger Alex Rodríguez, Jennifer Lopez and Eva Longoria.
Singer Lady Gaga took first place on the list, which Forbes describes as "a measure of entertainment-related earnings and media visibility (exposure in print, television, radio and online)."
Nadal, the world's top-ranked tennis player, earned a total of $10.5 million in prize money and another $20 million from endorsements for brands such as Giorgio Armani.
No. 49 on the Forbes list is Alex Rodríguez. The New York Yankees third baseman, of Dominican descent, earned $35 million over the past 12 months.
A-Rod is followed by Jennifer Lopez, a daughter of Puerto Rican parents who ranked No. 50 thanks in part to her role as a judge on the hit reality TV show "American Idol," as well as her successful perfume line and her Grammy Award nominations.
Actress Eva Longoria, the daughter of Tejano parents, was in the No. 81 spot with earnings of $13 million thanks to her role on "Desperate Housewives" and for serving as a campaign spokesmodel for cosmetic brand L'Oreal, finishing in a tie with Cameron Díaz, an American actress of Cuban descent who earned $18 million over the past year.
