Justin Bieber is “just a normal dude.”

At least that is what one buxom babe told the New York Daily News after spending an hour and a half with the Canadian pop star at a Miami strip club only 48 hours before his now infamous drunk drag racing arrest through the streets of Miami in a yellow Lamborghini.

“He’s just doing what any teenager would do if they were a star with lots of money,” said 30-year old model Carmen Ortega, who had a heart-to-heart conversation with the Biebs two days before his arrest. “He said, ‘I hate it that people make out I’m a bad guy, there’s so much media pressure. I’m not a bad guy, I’m just being me.’”

Apparently “being me” for Justin Bieber includes driving under the influence, drag racing and resisting arrest – all of which landed him a night in a Miami slammer earlier on Thursday.

Oretga said that when she met the singer inside the King of Diamonds club in Miami during a birthday party for rapper friend Lil’ Scrappy, the pop singer was drinking nothing more than a Red Bull. He did, however, order $75,000 in single dollar bills to shower on the strippers, according to a tweet from the owner of the King of Diamonds.

“What 19-year-old wouldn’t want to party with models and go to a strip club on their friend’s birthday?” the model asked.

Ortega herself knows about controversy.

Last year, the curvaceous stunner caused a stir when she was romantically linked to the then-engaged NBA superstar LeBron James. The NBA player married his high school sweetheart Savannah Brinson in September.

Ortega, who is regularly featured in men’s magazines like FHM and Maxim, has dated NFL running back Reggie Bush.

“It must be awful, always being made out to be the bad guy,” Ortega said of Bieber. “It can't be normal ... I gave him the advice to enjoy the moment, the right now, and not think about it too much. He agreed and said: ‘You're right.’

The Biebs bust in Miami is only one mess-up in a string of strange incidents from the Canadian singer in the last year that includes accusations of throwing eggs at a neighbor’s home, urinating into a restaurant mop bucket and lashing out at the paparazzi.

“I don't agree with everything he's done, but he's not out of control,” Ortega said. “I feel he says and does things out of anger to the media, which makes it worse, he doesn't quite know how to deal with the backlash or the attention."
