U.S. model and television star Kourtney Kardashian this weekend attended the inauguration of the Breathless Resort & Spa, a luxury hotel built by Spain's Martinon group on the Uvero Alto beaches here.

After the official speeches, the model, accompanied by her husband Scott Disick, participated on Saturday in the ribbon-cutting ceremony along with Dominican President Danilo Medina, the hotel's owners and the Dominican and Spanish tourism ministers, Francisco Javier Garcia and Jose Manuel Soria, respectively.

Kourtney's sister, Kim Kardashian, was seen before the ceremony eating lunch on the hotel's beach and also taking a dip in one of the pools.

The model, the mother of two children, let herself be photographed with several invited guests at the inauguration of Breathless, an adults-only hotel with 750 suites, all of them with jacuzzis.

Kardashian is one of the celebrities invited to the events to inaugurate the hotel, which will culminate on Tuesday evening with a performance by popular Dominican singer-songwriter Juan Luis Guerra.

The complex was built by the Martinon group but the management and marketing of the resort are being handled by NH hotels and AMResort.
