Fashion designers Francesca Miranda and Adriana Santacruz, and fashion house Pink Filosofy, whose guest of honor was Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio, officially opened Colombiamoda.
Ambrosio, known for her work with Victoria's Secret, Dolce & Gabbana, Loewe and Ralph Lauren, introduced the collection Tuesday by Arkitect, featuring the creations of Pink Filosofy, a fashion house run by Colombia's Adriana Arboleda and Johanna Ortiz.
Designer Francesca Miranda, a Salvadoran based in Colombia, presented a collection inspired by pre-Columbian sculptures from the San Agustin archaeological zone.
Colombian designer Adriana Santacruz, for her part, unveiled "Relampago," a collection of 30 pieces made from cotton and sheep's wool that were sewn by hand.
The Agua Bendita swimwear collection and the Leonisa lingerie collection will be unveiled on Wednesday, along with the creations of designers Camilo Alvarez and Isabel Henao, who will close the second day at Colombiamoda. EFE
