Anglo-Irish band One Direction is performing this weekend in Mexico City, where female fans camped out at the group's hotel for days, media reports said.
Groups of female fans took up positions outside the band's hotel on the iconic Paseo de la Reforma starting on Thursday night in an effort to catch a glimpse of the musicians.
The London-based boy pop group formed by Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry and Louis became famous after appearing on "The X Factor" in 2010.
Several members of the group waved to fans from the windows of their hotel on Saturday morning.
Some of the singers recorded video clips with their Mexican fans that will reportedly be used on a souvenir video of the "Take Me Home Tour," which started in London in February.
The group, which is popular with the teenybopper set, performed on Saturday night at Mexico City's Foro Sol and had another show at the same venue on Sunday.
